What is the Content Value Chain?

Step 1: Briefing – setting the foundations

When the final asset is uploaded, this information is automatically attached as rich metadata, ensuring consistency and reducing manual entry. From there, the metadata continues to travel with the asset and is continuously enriched over time, keeping it findable, rights-safe and ready for automated assembly and distribution. This step can be templated and reused, so recurring elements are pre-filled and only new parameters need to be adjusted, which optimizes the process.

Step 2: Asset creation – turning ideas into assets

Whether it’s a product video, campaign visual, or AI-generated copy, this is when the actual assets files are produced. Although there are no limited ways to create assets, either via traditional photoshoot or with the use of advanced tools like CGI, or Generative AI, taking modular and layer approach should be kept in mind to maximize reuse and future differentiation.

Step 3: Asset management – one source of truth

Ever spent hours looking for the “latest logo” or the “right image format”? That’s a symptom of broken asset management.
